Holds a master's degree in planning and production control from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-RJ), a specialist in economic engineering and industrial administration from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) and a degree in production engineering from the same university. He is a university professor at the Augusto Motta Unified Teaching Society (Unisuam).

In Bio-Manguinhos since 1999, he has experience in the logistics chain area, working mainly on the following topics: production control plan management, purchasing, storage, transport and international trade.
