Until June 8th, Bio-Manguinhos participates in the 2023 edition of the BIO International Convention, the largest biotechnology event in the world that takes place this year in Boston, Massachusetts (USA). There are 4 days of agenda, with more than 100 interactive sessions covering a variety of therapeutic areas, business development, digital health, patient advocacy, public policy and biotherapy, and also several networking opportunities.

In addition to a stand in the Brazilian Pavilion and prospecting for new partnerships for the Institute, Bio-Manguinhos was also present at the VIII Summit Brasil, a seminar held by the Brazilian Association of Pharmaceutical Inputs Industry (Abiquifi) as part of BIO's program. The director of the Institute, Mauricio Zuma, participated in the panel “Projects to Foster Innovation in Brazil: Structure installed and Programs in progress”, talking about the experience of Bio-Manguinhos.

The BIO International Convention is recognized as the world's largest gathering of the biotechnology industry, together with industry leading investors and partnership meetings held around the world. The event seeks to enrich the industry with opportunities for networking, partnerships and education. The participation of Bio-Manguinhos in an event of this size is strategic to position the Institute as one of the most important characters in the scenario of research and production of biotechnology worldwide.
