The CEO of Bio-Manguinhos/Fiocruz, Mauricio Zuma, was elected as a member of the Council of the Developing Countries Vaccine Manufacturers Network (DCVMN) on 10/20. Bio-Manguinhos believes that science and health are made through cooperation, especially encouraged by the partnership of vaccine manufacturers, organizations, and individuals who share the same goals and challenges and cooperate with each other, as in DCVMN.

“We need to work harder to promote and strengthen collective self-confidence among manufacturers in developing countries, exchanging experiences, working in partnership, sharing, and using our technical resources to develop complementary capabilities. This approach will leverage our network capabilities and strengths to increase more equitable access to vaccines and technologies worldwide.”
